Go To Jail đźš”

I remember watching one of those “Scared Straight” television shows back in the day.

If you’re not familiar with the series, Scared Straight was a show in which seriously misbehaving adolescents would be taken from their homes at the behest of their overwhelmed parents, and forced to spend time in a correctional facility. There, they’d be viscerally confronted by real, currently-incarcerated adult criminals.

The inmates would “shock and awe” the kids with intimidation, spit-in-your-face yelling, and stories of how terrible it was to be locked up in jail for years — the direction these bad-ass kids seemed to be headed in.

I still remember one particular inmate, with the bad kids visiting him in his jail cell, telling the kids to not be impressed by the “luxurious things” they saw in his cell — specifically, a radio and television.

Sometimes I have the weird thought of what the benefits of such a circumstance like incarceration would be.

One, with many less options as we have now, you’d hone in on a handful of tasks to the exclusion of everything else.

For example, you could probably read (or write) entire books every day.

Have uninterrupted thinking time.

Get complete clarity and control over any untamed ideas or thoughts.

Then… What’s stopping me (or you) from doing this now?

Why would I (or you) need to be in jail to have this discipline?

The answer is, nothing is stopping anyone — other than the lack of decision and strong enough reason to lock-in on these tasks.

The choice to get focused on a single task, to the exclusion of everything else — all possible distractions — is a skill.

The good thing about skills is that they can be practiced and developed with the proper training and desire.

That’s why, for the foundational skill that we all need — mental focus — I created Bulletproof Mindset.

This program is the foundational program of Work On Your Game, as mindset is the basis upon which we do everything else.

With this, you will learn the discipline, confidence, mental toughness and focus that will have you doing things that others only dream about doing — the stuff you’d think requires extenuating circumstances to begin — and make it look (and feel) easy.
